Ocean make sound nobody understand

Ocean WeirdDeep Mystery

Ocean scientists put listening devices in the sea and sometimes the sea answers with noise nobody can neatly explain right away. Grug find this deeply comforting. Even expert still get surprised by wet planet.

There have been famous sounds with names like Bloop, Upsweep, and Whistle. Some later got good explanations, like ice movement or whale behaviour. Some stayed mysterious for a long time first, which is honestly the fun part.

Imagine hearing giant haunted slide-whistle from dark water miles deep and having your official job be 'please work out what that was.' Respect to ocean acoustics people. Difficult field. Very damp.

Humans map land, scan space, build app that deliver soup to cave, and still the ocean can go 'oooooOOOoooo' and everybody has to hold meeting about it. This keeps ego healthy.

Grug does not need every mystery solved immediately. Sometimes it good to know the world still hums in languages we have not translated yet.
